Kinetic Sculptures > Autohaemorrhaging Actuator

2012-Present

This interactive sculpture is collaborative effort between the sculpture and the viewer. Activated by a motion sensor, the presence of the viewer caused each form to make red markings upon the wall surface. The more interaction that occurred between the sculpture and the viewer, the more elaborate the wall drawing became. Additional elements are added to the work on a sporadic basis.

Autohemorrhaging Actuator was also installed in The Ghost of Rube Goldberg exhibition, held in the Glass Curtain Gallery, curated by Elizabeth Burke-Dain, March 2013
